What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a special link to a third-party service (such as a hotel booking site or a tours-and-activities platform). If you use one of our links and then complete a booking or purchase on that third-party service, we may receive a small commission from that service. Programs we may participate in
Onsen Vista is operated by Ksync Inc. We may participate in affiliate programs run by travel and activity platforms. Programs we may join include, for example, tours-and-activities and accommodation marketplaces and their affiliate networks. The specific programs we belong to may change over time. This page is updated to reflect the programs we actually participate in.
As of July 2026, Onsen Vista participates in the Travelpayouts affiliate network, which operates affiliate programs for travel brands including several of the platforms we link to (such as Klook, Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Airalo, Radical Storage, and Kiwitaxi). Where a link on our site is an affiliate link, we may earn a commission on qualifying bookings or purchases made through it. Links that are not affiliate links remain ordinary links, and we earn nothing from them. We will update this page as our participation changes.
How affiliate links affect our content
Commissions never change our recommendations or how we describe a place. We choose what to write about based on what we believe is useful to travelers, and our fact-checking process is the same regardless of whether a page contains affiliate links. We do not accept payment to give a favorable review, and we do not present paid placements as independent editorial recommendations.
Prices, availability, and terms on third-party platforms are set by those platforms, not by us, and can change at any time. Please confirm all details on the provider's own site before booking.
We are not a booking agent
Onsen Vista is a publisher of travel information. We do not take reservations, process payments, or act as an intermediary for any booking. Any booking you make is a direct transaction between you and the third-party provider, subject to that provider's own terms and conditions.
